Dear Friends,

We are living in a time of global discontent and terrorism. On September 11, 2001, America woke up to this devastating reality. Since that day, the threat of future attacks has been pervasive and unnerving. Yet, we are not powerless. There is much we can do to empower and protect our loved ones and ourselves.

As you probably already know, we specialize in gas masks (both smoke and NBC), radiation detectors, full body protection suits, potassium iodide tablets, and other critically important items. Our approach to homeland security is pragmatic: Gas Masks are no different than safety devices already common place in most homes, such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and first-aid kits. We are enabling people to alleviate their fears by doing something smart and productive: preparing to overcome that which they most fear.

In recent news, terrible terrorist act were committed in Iraq and in Egypt where dozens of international tourists lost their lives at the Tabah Hilton bombing – we may not be able to avoid every human loss, but our aim is the rescue of as many innocent people as possible – with our equipments, some lives could potentially have been saved. Our prayers go to the wounded and the families of the victims.

Once you have been notified by your federal, state, or local authorities that you have been exposed to radioactive iodine, it may be necessary to prepare doses of potassium iodide for infants, children, and teenagers using potassium iodide tablets.

 

1. Grind the potassium iodide tablet into powder

 

Put one (1) 130 mg potassium iodide tablet into a small bowl and grind it into a fine powder using the back of the metal teaspoon against the inside of the bowl. The powder should not have any large pieces.

 

2. Dissolve the potassium iodide powder in water

 

Add four (4) teaspoonfuls of water to the potassium iodide powder in the small bowl. Use a spoon to mix them together until the potassium iodide powder is dissolved in the water.

 

3. Mix drink of choice with potassium iodide powder and water solution

 

Add four (4) teaspoonfuls of the desired drink to the potassium iodide powder and water mixture described in Step 2.
